In honour of her late husband Rob Blewett, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 24 from a rare form of cancer, Helen Lloyd founded Bluebells Day Nursery.
Helen was sad since she had lost her spouse as well as the chance to start a family, shattering all of her future hopes. She quit her work as a financial advisor for a bank and decided to start her own daycare centre without having any prior experience in the field. Twelve months later, Bluebells finally opened its doors thanks to sheer willpower, a lot of effort, numerous setbacks, and much more tears.
The names Blue as in Blewett and Bells as in Helen's nick-name Hellsbells were combined to create the name Bluebells.
Twenty years later, I still feel the same pride and fervour about offering exceptional, individualised, and great childcare. We have established an admirable reputation as one of Wirral's most sought-after nurseries. Our waiting list, word-of-mouth referrals, and repeat business speak for themselves.
Our nursery's staff members are what make it great, and we have the most enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly skilled group around. Since I genuinely cherish and respect every employee, and because of our excellent work culture and training programme, staff retention is strong.
95 percent of our staff members are qualified in childcare to at least level 3, and first aid and safeguarding training are required. In fact, we are the ONLY nursery in Wirral to have received the coveted Millies Mark quality certification programme, which is given to nurseries that excel beyond the standards set by the government.
Additionally, our crew is well qualified to provide Wellcomm. This is an excellent toolset for monitoring your child's communication, speech, and language development. Early needs detection allows us to recommend activities that will support their development.
