Bluebell Parks Post 16 service educates and supports children with a variety of additional needs, such as severe learning difficulties, complex learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning challenges, who are between the ages of sixteen and nineteen. We provide a comprehensive timetable Monday through Friday from 9am to 3:15pm during our 38-week academic year. Our pupils attend schools in Knowsley, Merseyside, Central School, and Bluebell Park Upper School. Our goal for post-secondary education is to help students reach their full potential while preparing them for future career and life. To do this, we provide a variety of approved courses, including functional skills, enrichment skills, life skills, and work skills, from Open Awards AQAs and ASDAN. Additionally, all students take part in Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme activities, sports, and creative workshops, all of which integrate community learning. To help our students reach their goals and aspirations with the greatest degree of freedom possible, a comprehensive work experience programme is now being developed around the interests of the students and links with the curriculum. Personally, I'm incredibly delighted to be a part of our post 16's ongoing progress. Working with all of the children, parents, staff, and governors is an honour. I believe that the college's personnel is its greatest asset and is the reason for its success. We are completely committed to provide the best services to each and every one of our students and operate as a team in a welcoming, compassionate environment. We encourage visits to Post 16 and want you to email
