Three distinct children's rooms—one each for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers—are available at our Penge and Anerley locations.
Natasha and Daniella, the proprietors of the nursery, have over 20 years of expertise in childcare and are qualified to operate a daycare.
All employees have received training in child protection, health and safety, paediatric first aid, and other topics.
We take great satisfaction in the high calibre of care we can provide and the chances we give kids to grow and learn.
Our staff at Blue Pear Day Nursery and Pre-School places a high priority on the safety of the children entrusted to our care.
We are dedicated to protecting and advancing the welfare of our kids, and we expect all of our employees and volunteers to have a same dedication.
We hold that every child has a right to education in a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment, including a right to be shielded from all forms of abuse.
If a staff member is worried about the wellbeing of a child, they shall note their worry together with any observations or conversations they overhear and report to a manager/DSL as soon as possible/the same day.
One of the DSLs will receive a confidential complaint from a staff member who has concerns about another staff member's conduct or behaviour (which would indicate that he or she is unfit to deal with children) and will refer and consult with Bromley LADO before deciding what course of action to take.
At Blue Pear Day Nursery, we value the individuality of each child.
When necessary, we seek to collaborate closely with other organisations and specialists to best serve the needs of children.
The SENCo at our daycare helps children and staff work together to welcome children with special needs to the environment and helps all children as they adjust to daily routines.
If your child needs more help, our nursery's SENCo will create a plan with parents, outside specialists, and their key person outlining precise goals that we will work toward together.
This document is always reviewed and discussed with the parents, and it takes into consideration the suggestions and assistance of other organisations or specialists working with your kid.
When your kid is prepared to begin school, we will coordinate with your preferred institution and, as needed, set up transition meetings to ease the process.
Any documents, such as reports from outside agencies or IEPs (individual education plans), will be given to the school with your consent.
