Every child is valued as an individual, and our teaching strategies take into account different learning preferences. Our course offerings are imaginative, diverse, and dyslexia-friendly. Our cross-curricular programme covers every subject covered in the National Curriculum, including swimming and sport, as well as teaching social, communication, and linguistic needs, including English as a Second Language (EAL), emotional intelligence, motor skills, and citizenship skills. While maintaining a largely Christian character, Birtley House School accepts students of all religions. Between Key Stages 1 and 2, we have four courses. There is a high staff-to-student ratio in our small classes, and many programmes utilise our lovely surroundings.
