Barkway Preschool

A modest registered charity and non-profit organisation, Barkway Preschool is. The preschool, which provides care for children from two to five years old, is operated by a management committee and its loving, qualified personnel. We adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage in our work (EYFS). The EYFS outlines the learning and development phases that kids go through as they mature from birth to age five. The first five years of a child's life are the most formative years of their life, by far. Because of this, the EYFS places the needs of each individual child first, with staff members seeking to build trusting bonds with the kids and their families. By fostering these connections, Early Years Practitioners may create engaging activities that cater to each child's interests and skills and advance their learning.
