Appletree Nursery

We are a charitable organisation situated in North Sheffield's Grenoside Park, which is safe and quiet and provides quick access to the A61 and M1.
The childcare at Appletree Childcares has received a Good rating from OFSTED (October 2016).

Additionally, Grenoside-based Appletree Childcares clubs received a Good rating from OFSTED (February 2018).
Baby Bramleys 3 months to 2 years, Blossoming Braeburns 2-3 years, and Pre-School Pippins 3 years and older are the three age groups served by our nursery.
Pre-School Pippins accepts children up to the age of 8, so we may assist with covering school inset days.
All kids are welcome to join the Holiday Club, which is open during school breaks (excluding Bank holidays and the Christmas break).
We collaborate with Sheffield City Council's Special Needs Inclusion Play Care Service and accept kids with special needs.
Established in 1994, Appletree Childcare first offered after-school programmes in 2000.
Appletree is now governed by a Board of Trustees made up of members of the neighbourhood community and the staff team after owner Janet Parkin made the decision in 2008 to turn the business into a charity.
This implies that all revenue is reinvested back into the company to pay for staff salaries, building rent, toys and educational materials, food and drink, etc.
