Alderley Edge Pre-School

The "Early Years Foundation Stage" (EYFS), which establishes the requirements that all early years providers must fulfil to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe, is followed by Alderley Edge preschool.
We monitor, evaluate, and plan for kids' learning and growth in 7 different areas.
The key person identifies potential pathways of growth that fit the requirements of the children in their care, and activities and resources are strengthened around the moment's present interests of the children.
Your child's key person will keep track of your child's growth in the form of learning tales on an online platform called Tapestry.
Moment by moment, the cycle of observation, appraisal, and planning will be completed.
After the cycle is over, we note this learning on our planning papers.
This is made more likely by planning on the fly.
5) will be the subject of the week's attention.
Every child will initially serve as a focus child once every half term. During this time, we'll ask parents to share an observation with photographs on tapestry. We'd love for you to share anything with us that is noteworthy in your child's life at the time, as well as any new or developing interests or learning that you have noticed at home.
The week before your child's concentration week, your key person will extend an invitation for you to do this.
Your child's primary caregiver will pay close attention to your child's current interests during focus week and may even strengthen or provide additional resources to support those interests.
After that, they'll finish a number of longer observations that will appear on a tapestry with the title Focus Week. These observations will provide a more detailed account of the learning that was witnessed and how the practitioner improved your child's learning.
All children continue to be subject to routine snapshot observations, and learning is still actively encouraged throughout the whole pre-school.
Your youngster uses the adult as a teaching tool.

The week before to your child's focus week, your child's key person will always let you know and, if necessary, will provide advice and assistance so that you may share your own observations with us.
Together, we can design activities that will match your child's requirements and provide a stimulating atmosphere that will support your child's growth and learning.
