Alburgh With Denton Preschool Nursery

The first Alburgh with Denton preschool opened its doors in 1975, operating out of a nearby village hall. After extensive fundraising and help from the National Lottery, we were able to buy our own building in 1998. which we placed on the Denton Primary School's grounds in Alburgh. While we enjoy the benefits of sharing the school's resources, we are an independent nursery, and as a result, many of the nearby schools accept our students.
We are lucky to live in a rural area with lovely surroundings. All the advantages of open spaces and wooded areas are available to our kids. ensuring that both indoor and outdoor learning can be beneficial.
We are a non-profit corporation that is registered as a charitable organisation. For the community we serve, our goal is to offer childcare that is both inexpensive and of good quality. Raising money and fostering social ties among families, employees, and kids are both significant goals of fundraising.
Because we are a welcoming environment where everyone is accepted, our staff has a lot of experience assisting our families and the unique requirements of their children.
The setting now employs 6 staff members. We have a solid team because all of the staff members have been employed by the setting for some time. This chance has made it possible for the setting to benefit from continuity and the integration of reflective practise. In order to ensure the smooth operation of our pre-school, we are assisted by a committee of parents who actively support management and fundraising.
In order to guarantee that we have a thorough grasp of and comprehension of our children's requirements, it is our goal to work closely with parents and staff.
Our children's needs are satisfied in the setting when we work in conjunction with parents.
