away from the nursery.
The Tots facility is roomy, light, and airy. Since everything is on the ground floor, kids can travel freely and safely between the rooms and the outside play spaces to take full advantage of all the amenities we provide.
For every stage of a child's growth, we provide a wide selection of toys, tools, and other resources.
At Adventure Tots, we think that play is the best way for kids to learn.
In light of this, we offer them a multitude of tools and chances to explore their creativity, learn, and grow.
We adhere to the exact same Early Years Foundation Stage care and educational standards as those established for nursery schools and reception classrooms.
Visit our EYFS page to learn more about how we approach the development and education of young children.
The best way to choose a nursery is to visit in person and experience the vibe of the place.
We're therefore happy to be able to reopen our doors to viewers after having to keep them out for months.
Just drop by; no appointment is necessary.
We only ask that you try to avoid the busiest times of the day, which are the start and end of the day and lunchtime.
We have a group of competent practitioners on our staff who are all trained in paediatric first aid and have at least level 3 up to level 5 qualifications.
The majority of them have been with us since we launched in October 2000, and they have an average of over 10 years of childcare experience each.
We offer morning snacks including toast, crumpets, croissants, and milk as well as an afternoon light tea with sandwiches and fruit.
Drinks are offered all day long.
All day long, kids in the Big Room are welcome to help themselves to drinks.
We have a great deal of expertise catering for unique dietary needs, from the straightforward to the complex, and we work with parents to develop a wholesome eating schedule.
Lancashire Trading Standards has given Adventure Tots a Bronze Recipe4Health Award.
We don't need fruit donations or cash for snacks or craft supplies, in contrast to some situations.
All year round, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, Adventure Tots is open with the exception of federal holidays, seven days during Christmas, and one week at the end of May. When we are closed, there are no costs due.
You can extend a half-day session by adding the lunch break (12 – 1 p.m.) for a small additional fee.
Depending on space, we can provide more flexible sessions.
The sessions don't have to be the same every day; you can alternate full days, afternoons, and mornings as needed.
We offer all refreshments, drinks (except from formula milk), and craft supplies, regardless of whether you pay fees or solely use free sessions.
A two-course lunch is provided for children who stay for lunch and is included in the tuition.
Children who use their "free" time for lunchtime are an exception to this rule; in those cases, we impose a little fee to defray the cost of the meal.
