School Info

Abingdon School is a All-through, Boys school located in Oxfordshire, South East.

It has 218 students from age 4-19 yr.

Tuition is £4,275 to £6,205 for the highest grade offered.

From the School
Despite being proud of its many accomplishments, Abingdon has a down-to-earth culture that results from the fact that it is a school that understands who it is, does not try to be what it is not, and avoids being flashy, phoney, or conceited. Although the school is mindful of innovation to meet the demands of a world that is changing quickly, it is also careful not to abandon conventional methods when they continue to be the most successful. Academic achievement is far from the only requirement for admission to or success at the school, despite the fact that Abingdon is undoubtedly academically selective and actively supports the life of the mind. The name we chose for our outstanding extracurricular programme, The Other Half, represents the significance to the school of developing well-rounded boys and our conviction that their character development is equally important to their academic growth and successes. We provide first-rate facilities, but we also understand that the success of the Foundation depends on the calibre of our personnel. As a result, we seek out and nurture highly qualified coworkers with a broad range of talents and a strong dedication. Our dedication to maintaining the widest possible access to an Abingdon education is just one example of how we appreciate and nurture our strong ties with the larger community. A wonderfully effective pastoral system serves as the cornerstone of all the school accomplishes. The house and tutor system gives dayboys and boarders alike a strong sense of belonging, ensuring that they are recognised individually, and makes them feel really and personally supported in their journey towards adulthood by a variety of people.
