From the Abbeydale Cottage Nursery
Abbeydale Cottage Nursery's proprietors and managing directors are sisters Amy and Jodi.
They found the Abbeydale site after developing a business plan and looking for the ideal location, and they transformed it into a purpose-built Nursery & Pre-School that debuted in 2015.
They work to maintain ACN as family-friendly and personable as they can, and they make an effort to maintain the Nursery as a home away from home for the kids they look after and the personnel they employ.
Claire, who has a postgraduate degree in early childhood education and is certified as an early years teacher, is passionate about working with parents and assisting kids in maximising every chance to learn and grow in a secure, joyful, and enjoyable setting.
All future learning is built on the vital foundation that early childhood education offers.
With the assistance of knowledgeable and experienced personnel, we offer a variety of planned and unstructured activities for our young guests.
All of our kids are urged to develop into independent, self-assured, engaged, and content learners.
Play is essential to a child's healthy development and lays the groundwork for lifelong learning because it helps kids build a range of skills that will be important for their future development, including communication and language, social and emotional control, problem-solving abilities, and resilience.
The variety of play activities we provide at the nursery will support their intellectual, social, emotional, creative, and physical development. In addition, phonics, arithmetic, science, and physical play are also taught in short, lively daily focused learning groups.
In order to enrich and extend the learning of the children, we encourage parental involvement at the nursery and work to create strong linkages with the home.
Our skilled and knowledgeable staff, under the direction of our Early Years Teacher, will assist your child in developing into an autonomous, self-assured, resilient, and content learner.
