Thank you for visiting Chingford Forest Day Nursery & Pre School. Our lovely nursery was constructed as a hunting lodge in the 1840s, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth 1. In the early 2000s, the property was turned into a nursery. Our childcare has a fantastic staff and accepts 41 children each day.
Only a few steps separate our childcare from an Epping Forest entrance. This implies that since all kids love to explore nature, we can provide them with increased outdoor experiences. On-site, we have a certified Forest School Leader.
The kids participate in activities like building fairy houses, searching for dinosaur fossils and bones, and creating potions out of items they've collected in the forest.
Our Forest School Leader is skilled and enthusiastic about teaching kids to appreciate the natural world, the environment, and their immediate surroundings.
51 weeks out of the year, we are open from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm, Monday through Friday. In addition to bank holidays, we are closed the week between Christmas and New Year's.
