From the Woodlands Nursery
A private day nursery with 30 spaces registered with OFSTED is called Woodlands Nursery Ruislip Ltd.
The nursery is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac and has a sizable secure grassy space. It is open 51 weeks out of the year.
The co-owners, moms of their own children, Debbie Gumm and Carol Hrano, have each had a wide range of experience working in and managing nurseries, both privately-owned and local authority-controlled.
In contrast to many economically oriented nurseries, Carol and Debbie believe that Woodlands is a unique childcare facility because of the emotional understanding of the staff as parents first and foremost, as well as the professional training they have received.
Between them, they have 50 years of real-world experience.
In 1991, she went back to work at Unicorn Nursery, which Carol and Debbie eventually acquired.
based on their combined knowledge and experience as mothers and trained nursery nurses.
In 1992, Debbie and Carol made the decision to form a partnership with one fundamental goal in mind: to open a nursery where they could confidently and cheerfully send their own kids, knowing that they would be in good hands and receive the stimulation, happiness, and intellectual growth they needed.
