We operate from our magnificent Peacehaven location with a group of nursery professionals that are well qualified.
For the kids, we use the entire property.
We have a 140-foot garden that is completely fenced and filled with toys for the kids to play with.
Our goal is to combine the social possibilities, structure, and educational opportunities of a nursery with the flexibility, enjoyment, independence, outings, and home-away-from-home setting of a childminder.
We place a high value on the care we provide in our environment.
Although still under construction, insect hotels provide a wealth of educational possibilities for kids.
Children may become part in this initiative and learn a lot about the natural world.
Given that kids learn best via first-hand experience, it is crucial that they are introduced to gardening activities that will enrich their lives.
We intend to include some magnification glasses and several planters with various organic materials within, such as hay, leaves, etc.
Even though there may not be much to see right now, the kids will soon be able to observe a variety of lovely wild flowers and the insects that frequent them.
They can learn the names of the many flowers and the animals that frequent them, but we can also teach them the value of all insects, including bees.
If they are raised with an appreciation for the value of wildlife, it will be easier to save it for future generations.
At Wild Monkeys, we think that teaching kids how much labour it takes to cultivate veggies gives them a sense of accomplishment since they are consuming food they have grown themselves.
The kids will gather the food later in the year when it is mature and utilise it in their cooking.
Children are much more willing to try new items when they have grown them themselves, according to our research.
As a result of achieving Level 5 in their Campaign for School Gardening, we are an RHS 5-Star Gardening Nursery.
To fulfil the needs and interests of the kids, we constantly adapt what we do with them over the week.
