Safeguarding Training: The manager ensures that all staff complete essential training. Safeguarding is effective. Staff deploy themselves effectively and supervise children well at all times. Robust recruitment checks and ongoing checks help ensure their suitability to work with children.

Play and Learning Integration: They engage well with children during activities. Staff provide help and support, where appropriate, allowing children to persevere and complete tasks for themselves. As a result, children are deeply engaged and involved in their chosen activity.

Transition to Primary School: Children receive consistent care and support between home, school and the playscheme.

Child Safety Management: Risk assessments are effective. All areas of the playscheme and outdoor playground are checked by staff before children access them. This means children play in a safe environment. Effective policies and procedures are in place and implemented by staff.

Happiness and Settling: Children form positive relationships with staff. They confidently choose what to do and settle quickly to play.
