The White House Nursery Oakwood was listed on the Childcare Register's mandatory and optional sections as well as the Early Years Register in 2013.
Since the Oakwood Nursery's launch in January 2014, the Oakwood team has worked hard to establish a secure and enjoyable environment for your children's development from ages O to 11 years. It is the third of The White House Day Nursery Limited's three nurseries.
Following a thorough renovation, the nursery now serves the neighbourhood of Oakwood in Derby from a roomy separate home and a cosy annex, providing top-notch childcare with connections to the neighbourhood schools.
A large number of kids have registered in the early years age group since the nursery opened in January 2014, and more kids are enrolling every day.
Our highly skilled staffing team at the Oakwood nursery is now able to provide subsidised early education for children ages two, three, and four with the assistance of government financing.
The toddler room offers direct access to the outside through either the doors leading out onto the courtyard area filled with lots of fascinating activities or through our lovely conservatory area, which is used for messy and creative play.
The playroom and the arts and crafts area are located on the upstairs floor of the building, which is occupied by the pre-schoolers.
The pre-school room also has an outside balcony that enables the kids to move freely between the indoors and the outside and enjoy themselves in any weather.
Our staff covers all areas of learning in pre-school through the activities and experiences they offer, preparing the kids for school life.
The Oakwood team collaborated with local landscapers to design a great outdoor play area for the kids, complete with bike tracks, trim trails, allotments, tunnels, and sensory play spaces, to complement the new nursery renovation.
The children may immediately enter the garden from the nursery's upper floor thanks to our specially designed rainbow bridge, which is a special element of this exceptionally lovely structure.
