From the Weydown Nursery School
We are a preschool school in the centre of Haslemere offering children ages 2-4 a nurturing, encouraging, and exciting atmosphere. The majority of our kids transfer to nearby primary schools, with whom we have great relationships, as a result of our efforts to help the kids gain the knowledge and confidence necessary for "school ready."
When playing with others, our team helps the kids develop the important social skills of collaboration, sharing, and civility. Through small-group exercises and language modelling while playing, we also help the kids develop their language and listening/attention abilities.
In our outdoor space and on local expeditions, your kids will be encouraged to learn about nature and the cyclical rhythm of the seasons. To foster the children's curiosity, our exciting atmosphere offers exhibits and activities that are connected to the outside world.
Due to the fact that we have been open during the lockdown time (from April 2020) for the families of essential personnel, we have established a fantastic routine of improved cleanliness and hand washing.
