One of the facilities directly run by the municipality, Westbourne Early Years Centre offers integrated care and education in a welcoming, multicultural setting.
In our opinion, children should learn to be confident, eager, and passionate learners during their time in the nursery.
Our goal is to provide a supportive atmosphere that is resourceful, kind, and stimulating.
Places are provided in the following ways: for children under 2, seats are non-financed and solely open to parents who are employed or enrolled in school; for children ages 2, 3, and 4, places are a mix of funded and non-funded.
To fulfil the requirements of the families in the neighbourhood, places are available on a full-time or part-time basis.
Children under the age of three who are not qualified for free early learning must pay, as well as 3- and 4-year-olds who stay over the allotted free education hours.
The Center is well-liked and gives children priority based on factors including whether they are at danger or in need, have special educational requirements, reside in Islington, are nearby the nursery, are the suitable age for the space available, or have parents who are employed or enrolled in school full-time.
By picking up an application form from the centre or calling and asking to have one emailed to you, you may apply for a spot at a children's centre.
The SENCO in our Islington link area offers us help, counsel, and training about SEND kids.
Many of the employees have further Makaton training.
