You and your kid will have the chance to visit the pre-school and get to know the staff members who will be looking after your child before they start pre-school. We want to accomplish this by inviting you to stay overnight, participate in an open house, or simply stop by for a tour of the facility.
We cannot emphasise enough how vital and valuable it is for you to participate in your child's care and education at pre school. To that end, we give you plenty of opportunities to stay updated on your child's progress through parent consultation days and termly reports on their growth.
Throughout the pre-school year, you will be invited to participate in and have access to your child's records. You will first need to fill out an All About Me form, which tells us about your child's interests, skills, family, and pets, among other things. This file will then be filled with learning journeys and observations, which you will be asked to read and sign every half-term. You will always have access to this profile.
A key person is assigned to each kid who will monitor, evaluate, and document your child's growth, progress, and interests. You will frequently have the chance to meet with your child's key person during the year to talk about your child's growth and learning story, which includes observations, pictures, and anecdotes of your child's pre-school learning journey.
