From the Welcome House Day Nursery
Our goal is to promote your child's growth in a joyful, carefree, and welcoming atmosphere.
We want to make the transition from home to nursery and eventually to primary school as smooth as possible, so we gently push your child's limits via engaging play.
We have a huge, walled garden that we utilise every day, as well as colourful indoor play areas that were created by us with young children in mind.
All our activities are based around a childs age and stage of development and their current interests.
We care for children aged between 2 and 5 years old.
Over the years, we have continuously gotten excellent Ofsted assessments, and in our most recent three inspections, the care and education we offer were assessed as "Outstanding."
Barbara Stanley and Victoria Baldwin, a mother-daughter partnership, founded Welcome House 27 years ago.
The staff are full time or work every morning or every afternoon, so your child will have the security of seeing and playing with the same adults each time they come.
We approach all children with professionalism and compassion, and we are always delighted to speak with you about any area of your child's growth and welfare.
We offer all day care from 8.30am until 5.30pm and some morning sessions from 8.45am - 1pm and afternoon sessions 1pm - 5.15pm.
We are also registered to accept nursery vouchers from employers should you wish to pay this way.
