For more than ten years, Turtles Day Nursery has been a reputable and well-established Day Nursery.
We have established a great reputation in the Portsmouth community as a compassionate nursery that fosters strong relationships with the families who send their children to Turtles Day Nursery.
To carry out our objective and continue our journey, we have recently relocated to Fareham.
Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and loving atmosphere where your kid may feel safe, secure, and happy.
For more than ten years, I have run Turtles Day Nursery. Today, I also own Little Lambs Nursery, which is located in the centre of Portsmouth.
I began working at Turtles Day Nursery in 2014 as an apprentice. After putting in a lot of effort and completing my Level 3 Early Years and Childcare certificate, I was promoted to 2-3 Group leader.
I am in charge of the preschool group.
I've been in the childcare industry for 8 years, and I started working at Turtles in September 2021. I've worked with children of all ages, and I love watching them develop and learn new things every day.
In 2018, I began working as a level 3 infant group leader at Turtles Day Nursery.
I've worked with infants for eight years, and I've also worked with preschoolers and two-year-olds.
Along with witnessing the infants master the skills of crawling, walking, and talking, I like messy play and creative activities with them.
I have first aid and child protection training.
In November 2021, I began working as an apprentice at Turtles Day Nursery.
I came to the realisation that I wanted to follow my passion and work with kids to help them learn, grow, and develop.
I have worked with all three age groups.
Every child is an individual who is always growing and who has the potential to be tenacious, competent, confident, and self-assured.
Children learn and grow successfully in supportive environments where their experiences are tailored to meet their specific requirements and there is a close working relationship between educators and parents or other caregivers.
Children grow and learn at varying rates and in various ways.
Giving children the chance to experience a rich linguistic environment, grow in self-assurance and communication skills, and talk and listen in a variety of contexts is all part of development.
It's important to provide young children the appropriate opportunity for physical activity so they may improve their coordination and mobility.
It is important to support children's development so they may build healthy connections, have positive self-perceptions, and respect others.
In order to develop, it is important to support children as they learn to read and write and link sounds and letters.
To pique their curiosity, children are given access to a variety of reading and writing resources.
Development involves providing children with a variety of opportunities to develop their skills in counting, shapes, space and measure.
Development involves giving guidance to children to understand of the physical world and their community, we do this by observing and finding out about people, places, technology and the environment.
Development involves enabling children to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials, as well as providing opportunities for sharing their thoughts and ideas.
