"Turncroft Nursery school, the Place for Learning and Laughter."
We see Turncroft Nursery School as the first stage in your child's educational journey. We strive to build on the excellent work you have already done with your child. Together, we can support your child in all areas of their learning and development. We welcome your comments and feedback which in turn help to shape and inform our practice as part of our school improvement.
We are proud to have been awarded 3 consecutive Ofsted 'Outstanding' ratings. However, we are constantly striving to enhance and develop our practice further. Please see the 'About Us' tab where you can read our Inspection reports.
We have a committed and skilled staff who are passionate about children and their learning. We promote high quality learning opportunities for all our children. Personal, Social and Emotional Development is one of our key strengths: this is vital in order to establish positive relationships with others and also provides a firm foundation for growth and development.
We are a Local Authority Education Nursery School in Blackburn with Darwen providing places for children the year before starting Primary School.
We have one hundred places -
50 morning part-time places
50 afternoon part-time places
