From the Town Work Play
Town Work Play is located in the gated grounds of The Abbey School in the ancient market town of Faversham.
Our goal is to provide children with the opportunity to engage in liberating experiences that are more difficult to find in contemporary schools. Farm Work Play is our sister nursery. We were all about impromptu, unplanned, and dangerous play. We value having room to move around and explore as well as access to nature, unstructured play, and fresh air.
We give kids the chance to develop a sense of freedom as they grow up, helping them to become independent and self-assured while also forging strong bonds with nature.
Come rain or shine, we foster the innate wonder and curiosity that children have at a pace that is unique to them.
Our ambience is like a home away from home, giving your kids a sense of security, love, and safety.
Thus, we are a town nursery with a rural vibe where kids who are allowed to roam freely can study and play together.
