Over the course of our more than 35 years as a member of the Burton Joyce community, we have welcomed hundreds of families through our doors, some of whom we have known for many generations.
We are a forward-thinking playgroup, but we also like to maintain traditional values and a schedule that will help developing kids flourish.
We provide a variety of toys, books, and activities for kids ages 2 to 5 including free play, role play, small world, arts & crafts, sensory play, messy play, and more.
We take a break from play in the middle of the morning and the afternoon to allow the kids some quiet time to listen to a tale, have snack time, and engage in group activities like singing and playing games while also playing songs and nursery rhymes.
With astroturf and parts with bark for safety and interest, our outdoor play area is friendly and well-lit. A little herb garden sits there, and a tree provides shade on hot days. Children can engage in a variety of outdoor activities that promote the growth of their abilities, balance, coordination, and creativity.
Each kid will have a private online diary that only you can view and that is updated frequently so you can follow your child's progress while they are with us.
