From the The Sunshine Centre
A project steering group made up completely of Bretch Hill residents in Banbury was successful in getting lottery funding because they saw the need for the project every day and had their backing. The Sunshine Centre has been expanding and changing ever since it was founded as a nonprofit business limited by guarantee in September 2008. The firm was founded in accordance with a Memorandum of Association that outlined its goals and authority, and it is regulated by its Articles of Association.
The Sunshine Centre has placed a strong emphasis on creating groups and services in response to the needs of the neighbourhood by collaborating with neighbourhood members and partners from various organisations, both volunteer and statutory. The Sunshine Center is located in the heart of the Bretch Hill neighbourhood and primarily serves the Ruscote and Neithrop Wards. For children and families, we provide multi-agency services and serve as a single point of access to integrated early learning and childcare, family support, health services, support for entering the workforce and pursuing further education, as well as links to other specialised services.
