Due to this, we have made the decision to introduce a school dog to the students and staff before the break.
Students have the chance to learn how to care for the dog if there is one in the classroom.
Working and playing with a dog has been shown to enhance children's social skills and self-esteem.
The Simba will first only be attending school, get used to the setting, and taking on walks with students and staff at break and lunch.
Students will never be left alone with the dog, rest assured.
