Children are educated in a cooperative, peaceful environment at Montessori schools, where their natural curiosity, creativity, and imagination are encouraged.
Children as young as 2 years old can enjoy a wonderful environment where kindness, cooperation, and creativity are encouraged at The Children's House in Chestnut Grove, Balham.
Tea Time for Toddlers, an orientation to the school for 2-year-olds with an adult present, is available by request in the afternoons from 3.30 to 4.30.
The Toddler Community is a great continuation of Tea Time for Toddlers and is open to kids as young as two years old in the afternoons from 1:30 to 3:00 or from 2:30 to 4:00.
The Montessori Children, which offers the entire Montessori curriculum along with guest teachers for dance, gymnastics, yoga, French, and drama. For up to 46 weeks of the year, flexible programmes are offered, ranging from three half days per week to full-time.
There is also holiday school and extended care, which is accessible from 8 am to 6 pm. Older students can be picked up from nearby schools, assisted with their schoolwork, invited to participate in a fun activity, and the session can end with a delicious cup of tea.
