Our goal is to provide an environment that is both caring and exciting so that kids can completely express their individuality and uniqueness.
On the grounds of Tarvin Primary School is where you'll find Tarvin Pre-School & Day Nursery. Although it has no connection to the school at all, we are welcome to share many of the opportunities that the school offers.
Our beautiful outdoor space is surrounded by trees and green fields. There is room to run about and explore, as well as a forested area where we can learn about nature and provide kids many hands-on teaching opportunities.
The Nursery is a registered charity, a limited company (limited by guarantee), a community nursery, and a not-for-profit organisation. Fund raising is essential, and we depend on a devoted fundraising committee.
In the past fifty years, Tarvin Pre-School & Day Nursery has transformed from a playgroup run out of a person's house to the outstanding learning environment it is now. Lyn Jackson, the nursery manager and director, has a first-class honours degree and Early Years Professional status.
In the last three Ofsted Inspections, Lyn has guided her team to Outstanding in every category.
