In order to encourage healthier workplaces, Healthworks has supported and continues to assist a variety of North East-based businesses and organisations.
We provide a variety of services to support and encourage better workplace health.
As part of their efforts to earn the Better Health At Work Award, numerous local businesses and organisations have hired us to offer training, awareness sessions, staff support sessions, and NHS Health Checks.
Our training enables us to perform NHS Health Checks. These are for English individuals who are 40 to 74 years old. The purpose of the NHS Health Check is to identify dementia, type 2 diabetes, renal disease, heart disease, and stroke in their early stages. Our risk of developing one of these disorders increases as we age, and an NHS Health Check can help identify methods to reduce that risk.
Our staff has travelled to a number of companies to conduct Talk Cancer Awareness Sessions and to conduct training sessions for Cancer Champions. If you're interested in learning more about how we can provide these services remotely via video, kindly get in touch with us.
More details about these services can be found on our website on cancer awareness.

We would love to hear from you, so please get in contact if you would like to join the many businesses and organisations we have previously assisted and are interested in learning more about how we can help you achieve a healthier workplace or if you are working toward the Better Health At Work award.
