From the The Kensington Kindergarten
The Kensington Kindergarten adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage, however several of our teachers have had Montessori training, and we also use some elements of the Montessori approach in our instruction.
The loving and engaging environment at our daycare supports the kids' growth into self-assured, autonomous learners.
In addition to implementing some elements of the Montessori Method, The Kensington Kindergarten makes sure that its nursery satisfies the learning and development standards specified in the updated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
A comprehensive and well-rounded education is provided for kids.
We give the kids the opportunities and encouragement they need to grow in their self-confidence, respect for others, social skills, and eagerness to learn.
If your child speaks English as a second language, they will quickly pick up the language and be able to converse freely with both children and adults thanks to the support and encouragement they get at The Knightsbridge Kindergarten.
Through a range of chances for exercise, coordination practise, and control over both their fine and gross motor abilities, we support the kids' physical development.
Our curriculum gives the kids the chance to practise their fine motor skills through pegging, spooning, and cutting exercises.
To pique their interest in reading, the kids have access to a variety of reading materials at school.
The kids are helped as they learn, practise, and discuss their growing grasp of numbers, shape, space, and measure in a variety of scenarios that assist their development as mathematicians.
They are provided with a wide range of opportunities to practice their mathematical skills, and to gain confidence in using mathematical language and concepts.
We provide the kids our full support as they expand their knowledge and comprehension to enable them to make sense of a rapidly modernising world.
We motivate students to participate in community events like walks and fundraisers for various charities.
In our daycare, we not only celebrate a range of holidays and celebrations from other countries and religions, but we also actively promote British values.
Parents and caregivers are urged to visit the school and aid in the children's knowledge since they play a crucial role in it.
Additionally, our curriculum includes a range of activities that provide the kids a chance to take care of the environment, such our gardening lessons and Forest School.
The extra peripatetic lessons that the kids attend as well as the tools and equipment we provide help to foster their creative thinking.
They are encouraged to explore and share their thoughts, ideas, and feelings through a variety of mediums, such as art, music, movement, dance, design technology, and imaginative role-play activities.
