Bath Area Play Project (B.A.P.P.) is a neighbourhood nonprofit organisation.
It was founded in 1979 to offer and encourage high-quality recreational activities for kids of school age during summer vacation.
They have utilised their right to play, and the special play opportunity provided by BAPP has enriched and increased their development.
Due to parents' growing anxieties about traffic, strangers, and crime, this special play experience will be lost to the next generation of kids if B&NES and other sponsors stop providing funds.
The BAPP acknowledges and advocates for the value of play in relation to children's rights and their development.
We are dedicated to giving kids in their local communities a variety of inclusive and accessible play experiences.
Children have the right to play in their own neighbourhood in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
All of our services are available to kids of all backgrounds, and the Hut's playspace has evolved into an environment where kids with and without disabilities may interact and have fun together.
The staff oversees the area and encourages the kids to take advantage of every play opportunity.
All kids from 12 months to school age are welcome to attend The Hut's pre-school, which is open during term time only from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday.
You and your kid, ages 0 to 16, are welcome to borrow toys from the TURTLE Toy Library at The Hut for up to two weeks.
After school, Community Play Rangers work with kids between the ages of 5 and 13 all year long in Bath's parks and open spaces.
All kids are welcome, and trained playworkers are on duty.
Closed-access Most school vacations, Three Ways School, in collaboration with KIDS, Fosseway School, and BOP, offers holiday playschemes for children with and without disabilities, ages 5 to 12/19.
