From the The Friary Nursery School Ltd
We follow and connect our learning to a different topic and theme each term.
Our learning process begins here. We pay attention to our kids' interests and create play-based activities around those interests.
These are the subjects we will be covering this semester.
People who aid us will be a topic of discussion and learning during the first half of the semester.
We will be studying weather after the break.
Each week, we will learn about the various sorts of weather.
These themes, which relate to the 7 areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage, will serve as the foundation for all of our activities.
We post details, videos, and images of the things the kids have been doing at the nursery.
The Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Code of Practice 2014, part of the Children and Families Act of 2014, specifies the support that early childhood settings must provide for children with SEND.
In accordance with and in compliance with the Equality Act's (2010) provisions, we make sure that our services are accessible to all children with disabilities and special educational needs.
We provide help to parents and kids who have special educational needs and use a variety of SEND solutions to satisfy those requirements.
What Does the Local East Riding Offer?
This is where you may find a variety of services offered in the East Riding region to help parents, kids, and teenagers with Special Educational Needs and Disability who are at least 025 years old (SEND).
Children and young people with special educational needs (SEND) and their parents or caregivers can get information about SEND in one convenient location thanks to the local offer.
The Local Offer was created to make it simpler for you to learn about the services and assistance available to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities from birth to 25 years old (SEND).
You may be able to receive the 30 hours funding if both parents of children ages 3 and 4 work 16 hours or more each week.
If you visit the GOV website and complete the necessary forms, you will be issued a code that begins with 500, which you must then present to us.
Parents already accessing the 30 hours will need to log on to their GOV account every 3 months or termly to confirm their details have not changed or provide further information if they have, so that their ongoing entitlement can be established by HMRC.
If you don't make sure to validate your information online each term, you risk losing your additional 15 hours and being charged.
Please wear a facial covering if you plan to enter the nursery building starting in January (unless you are exempt).
Staff members that are with you in the cloakroom will also be covered up.
Please do not bring your child to the nursery if they have been sick, have a temperature, a persistent cough, or have lost or changed their sense of taste or smell.
Call us to let us know and then follow the rules set down by the government.
The new EYFS 2021 regulation now mandates that nurseries support children's dental health.
We frequently receive the wonderful "dentist box" from Manor Road Surgery, which is full of interesting materials for the kids to explore and learn from.
In the nursery, water and milk are our preferred beverages, and they are always recommended.
