Inspectors from Ofsted commended the cooperation between Peterborough College and Stamford College for achieving notable advancement following a monitoring visit in September 2021. Peterborough College, Stamford College, and University Centre Peterborough make up the Inspire Education Group, which was founded last year and is in charge of 1,250 employees, 4,600 16–18-year-olds enrolled in further education, 1,000 adults, 800 students enrolled in higher education, and 1,100 apprentices.
The report recognises the accomplishments of college administrators, praising their efforts in maintaining high standards of instruction and training throughout the pandemic, developing a challenging curriculum to satisfy the requirements of learners, apprentices, and college stakeholders, and providing ongoing career guidance to students so they can make wise decisions about their next steps.
Leaders and governors have devoted many hours to ensuring that best practises are communicated and applied at both sites in order to successfully unite the two organisations throughout the pandemic.
Apprentices are aware of their career goals and are knowledgeable about how to achieve them.
The skills requirements of the local communities in Peterborough, Lincolnshire, and Cambridgeshire are well understood by the governors.
The study expands on the high standards and advancements made by college administrators at both institutions before they merged to form the Inspire Education Group.

The goal of the Ofsted monitoring visit was to assess the progress governors, leaders, and staff have achieved in establishing a single strategic direction since the merger as well as the enhancements in service quality since the college's most recent full inspection in 2019.
On August 1st, 2020, University Centre Peterborough, New College Stamford, and Peterborough Regional College merged to establish the Inspire Education Group.
