The Bix Montessori School and Forest School provides students with an unmatched educational start.
The stunning setting, which is on the lovely Bix Common, provides opportunities for both indoor and outdoor study.
We provide woodworking, yoga, gardening, cooking, dance, science experiments, animal care, and even pony riding in addition to our full Montessori and Forest School curricula.
Your child may participate in up to five weekly Forest School sessions.
Every child has a unique curriculum designed around their passions, which gives them an innate drive and curiosity to study more and prepares them for life.
Staff members at Bix Montessori not only possess the standard Montessori Early Childhood Diploma (for children aged three to seven), as do those at other Montessori nurseries, but also the extremely rare Infant Toddler Montessori Diploma (for children aged 0 to 3), demonstrating their in-depth knowledge of how to develop a Montessori environment for these two-year-olds.
By taking care of their surroundings, each other, and the numerous animals they own, Bix Montessori students learn to take responsibility and make informed decisions about their learning activities.
For a two-year-old, we think the most crucial thing is to establish a close relationship with a significant other who can help them feel secure when they are away from home.
Five days a week, from 9 am to 4 pm, the school is open.
