Rule of law: According to Personal Social and Emotional Development, knowing the rules is important. One example is working with kids to set rules and codes of conduct.
Through the management and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, as well as through this policy and the procedures, all staff members will serve as role models for these principles.
The staff will promote diversity, appropriate behaviour, child safety, and British values in line with the prevent responsibility.
The prevent duty and safeguarding will be periodically discussed at staff meetings, supervisions, and training on safeguarding. All staff will get prevent duty training online.
Please refer to the code of practise and safeguarding policy.
We will determine the likelihood that kids will be drawn into terrorism, and we'll work with regional partners like the Royal Greenwich Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to help practitioners refer kids to the right authorities, like the police, as well as to consider local risks and respond appropriately.
If there are concerns that a person may be susceptible to being drawn into terrorism or extremism, we will report them to local channel panels, channel police practitioners, or the (Mash) team.
send an email to [email protected] to inform the Channel team.
