Sunbeams Day Nurseries in Harrogate and Leeds are headed by mother of two, Registered General Nurse and Health Visitor, Kate Plews.
She has designed nurseries that offer a dynamic atmosphere where children from birth to age five can receive care and instruction.
Kate develops our nurseries using the Early Years Foundation Stage (see our parents zone for more info.).
Sunbeams nurseries are purpose-built and planned to meet the needs of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers in their own special areas.
Psychologists have proved that the first five years of our childrens lives are crucial.
We do not aim to replace the parents, but to support them in the care and education of their children.
To ensure the best for each child, we do not automatically move children through the rooms when they reach a certain age, we wait for the child to reach the right developmental phase for progression.
We work closely with parents to establish the best transition for each child.
We only employ friendly, well-qualified and highly experienced staff, and we were one of the first nurseries in the UK to gain the Investors in Children Award.
