St John's Pre-school, Merrow

Merrow Playgroup Association, which later became St. John's Pre-School, was first established in 1968. It has been based out of St. John's Center for the most of its existence (old and new). When the Pre-School relocated to the new centre building in 2002, the name was changed. The Pre-School has always been a local organisation for kids in the neighbourhood, managed by a volunteer council of parents. The majority of our kids continue on to one of the three neighbourhood elementary schools. Despite the fact that we are an independent preschool, St. John's Church is a close partner with us. We are a registered charity and a member of the Early Years Alliance (Number 1026264). From the time a kid becomes two years old until they enter kindergarten, we provide care and instruction. to improve the growth and education of young children in environments where parental participation is favoured. To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families. A high adult to kid ratio enables individual care and attention. Opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the group and in your child's progress.
