The location of St. George's Preschool is in the Glascote village, which is close to Tamworth's downtown.
We are a nonprofit organisation that is voluntarily run by a committee made up of St. George's Church members and parents of preschoolers. Since 1992, we have operated out of this location, and we currently possess an Ofsted Good rating (Carried out November 2018).
At St. George's Preschool, "Learning through Play" is prioritised. Through playtime activities that are matched to their talents, passion, and personal interests, our kids are also learning. Each child has a Key Person assigned to them who will form a deep bond with them and utilise observations to organise certain activities to aid in their individual development.
Children are given a snack and a beverage, either milk or water, which they are urged to help themselves with. All throughout the session, water is accessible.
For early drop-off, we also conduct a Breakfast Club from 8.30 to 9am for 3.00 per time, with breakfast available upon request. After the morning session, a lunch club is available from 12-12.30pm for $3 each time; however, as lunch is not supplied, we kindly ask that parents provide a lunch in a suitable box or container.
