Teaching British values aims to make kids proud to be British and prevent them from becoming radicalised at a young age.
We must demonstrate to our youngsters that coexistence is possible and that each person has value in our multiracial society.
It is crucial that we engage closely with parents to inform them that British values will be a part of our regular curriculum for their children. Inform the kids about appropriate conduct. Learning about good and wrong is what British values entail. Give each youngster a chance to speak about what they believe to be significant. Each child has a voice and is listened to in a British school, and they feel important and that their opinions will be taken into consideration. After the picnic, pick up the trash since British values stress the importance of protecting the environment and educating young people about the law, morality, and social responsibility. Observe the flowers, trees, ducks, etc. - British values include being proud of the world we live in and learning about it.
At Springboard, we promote tolerance and respect for one another by ensuring that kids have the freedom to disagree and are respected for their decisions, incorporating world religions and festivals into our lesson plans to teach kids about the world they live in, connecting kids' learning so they understand they are a part of a much larger world, and putting up posters and reading books that depict blended families, disabled people having equal access to opportunities, and other topics as the norm.
