After realising the great need for nurseries that could care for children with special needs, Jane launched Snaps in 2003.
Currently, Jane hands over management of the nursery to Emma and Sherri, although she remains available to assist them as needed.
Emma first enrolled at Snaps in 2004.
Emma has worked with Snaps for 14 years and has accrued a number of certifications thanks to her passion and dedication to the position. She has worked her way up to management and currently holds a Level 4 NVQ in Childrens Care, Learning, and Development.
The manager since 2009 is Emma.
Sherri Ponsford is the head of accounts and the deputy nursery head.
The year 2016 saw Sherri join Snaps.
As a result, the children can establish positive relationships with people, which enhances their growth and education. We also maintain consistently high standards for teaching and care.
Additionally, we appreciate and welcome any feedback from the families of the children.
At Snaps Day Nursery, we promote children's healthy eating.
We urge parents to pack nutritious lunches as well and ask that they steer clear of sweets, chocolates, and other snacks that can contain artificial colours or sweeteners because they might make kids hyperactive and interfere with their day at the nursery.
We have a rigorous NO NUT and NO EGG policy, so we have to demand that parents read the labels on every food item before bringing it in to make sure it doesn't include these ingredients.
The items that are not clearly labelled or that we fear may contain nuts or eggs must be kept out of the children's meals and given back to the parents in their child's lunchbox at home.
We are acutely aware of this and make sure that all dietary needs are met and followed.
