Snapdragons Pre-School

Pre-School Snapdragons is managed by a board of community-led Trustees and volunteer Directors.
At Snapdragons, we strive to give kids a secure, enjoyable, and educationally stimulating atmosphere.
To ensure that they are up to date with the most recent standards, all of the staff receives ongoing training in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Each child is regarded as an individual in our setting and advances through the EYFS at their own rate.
The EYFS standards are taken into account in all planning, which is then customised to the individual interests of the kids.
We have a safe outside play space where the kids can engage in a range of outdoor activities, such as our outdoor school, mud kitchen, and working garden.
In Snapdragons, we have a sizable play space that includes a range of learning possibilities for the kids, including a role-playing area.
We are based within close proxity of St. Georges Infants School and St. Margarets Junior School and are open to children from 2 years old until they join Reception at approx. 5 years of age at their local infant school.
We work closely with the local Infant schools to prepare transition documents to fully inform them of your childs progress before they make the move to Reception.
We would be more than happy to arrange an appointment for any prospective parents to come and join in with one of our sessions with your child.
