Hayley and Lindsey, sisters, invented Smiley Faces in 1998.
We wanted to develop a facility that was governed by names rather than numbers because we have a plethora of childcare expertise ourselves. Hayley and Lindsey are still very much involved in the daily operations of the facility.
We are passionate about ensuring that the atmosphere gives kids a safe, homey space they can share with other kids their own age. All of the children in our care are encouraged to express themselves freely as we work to develop and challenge them.
We are both mothers who firmly think that children are inherently inquisitive and that by allowing them to play freely, we can ensure that their inherent abilities are developed and enhanced.
