Activities: Children perceptively listen to a favourite story and make meaningful marks, such as letters and shapes with chalks and pencils.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Staff teach mathematics well through daily routines and in play.

Communication: Staff effectively use a wide range of strategies to share relevant information and provide many different opportunities for parents to be actively involved in the nursery.

Community Building: Parents are extremely happy with all aspects of the nursery.

Programs and Resources: Funding is used well to support children to make continued good progress. This includes children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Staff are excellent role models who treat children with kindness and respect.

Safeguarding Training: Staff have a thorough understanding of the procedures to follow should they have concerns about a child's welfare.

Play and Learning Integration: Children's physical development is fostered particularly well. Children confidently negotiate obstacles, ride bicycles and use tools safely as they manipulate malleable dough.

Transition to Primary School: Effective systems are in place to support children as they move between rooms in the nursery and on to school when the time comes.

Diversity Management: This includes children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language.

Nutritional Menu: Meals provided for children are extremely healthy, nutritionally balanced and meet their individual dietary requirements.
