The Curiosity Approach is one of the newest methods for teaching young children and is gaining popularity both domestically and abroad.
Lyndsey Hellyn and Stephanie Bennett, co-founders of the Curiosity Approach, have over 50 years of combined teaching and leadership experience in early childhood education and learning.
According to them, in actuality, this entails a nursery environment that is intended to resemble an extension of the child's home rather than a toned-down version of school.
The Montessori and Steiner educational theories, as well as Reggio Emilia, which emphasises self-directed and experiential learning, and the Te Whariki method from New Zealand, are just a few of the innovative educational philosophies that the Curiosity Approach draws inspiration from.
