My sons, ages one and four, are having a great time at Scribblez. My kids flourish there because it feels like such a nurturing and caring environment. I have faith that they are being well-cared for, learning important social and practical skills, and are in a structured setting that allows them to learn and thrive while getting lots of smiles, playtime, healthy food, and sleep when they need it.
For my boys, it feels like a second home that is so encouraging and loving. We are appreciative and fortunate to have them here.
Since Anne Redman is leading the team as principal, there will be a focus on the Montessori teaching style, which is her area of expertise. The Nursery's ethos is founded on the best elements of several approaches.
Our guiding principle is to give the kids a welcoming, safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where they can learn to develop a positive relationship with learning new things. It's not just what the kids learn, it's also how they are taught and introduced to new things, and that's the foundation of our philosophy.
The roots for how children approach learning for the rest of their lives are laid by this encouragement to independently explore and investigate the world around them. This kind of encouragement is meant to take away a person's fear of the unknown and replace it with a drive to learn more.
