Further to a cable strike affecting phone and broadband services on the 8 June, Openreach advise that all lines are now repaired and services fully restored.
Piling works which require the installation of driven sheet piles and may result in added noise and vibration, are currently required at several areas across the site.
Piling to the Brighton Hill Retail Park / A30 Winchester Road west is suspended pending the reinstatement of the area following the cable strike.
Piling works required to support the safe construction of the deep drainage within the centre of the roundabout is continuing.
Hampshire County Council have appointed Milestone Infrastructure Services as the main works contractor for the major improvements to Brighton Hill Roundabout which will commence on 24 January 2022 with a completion winter 2023.

Currently congestion at the Brighton Hill roundabout regularly results in extensive queues and journey time delays.
The Brighton Hill improvement scheme aims to support growth, reduce journey times and create an enhanced and safer environment for cyclists and pedestrians.
The scheme will widen and signalise Brighton Hill roundabout and add additional capacity to its main arms.
These improvements aim to make daily travel easier for residents and commuters and will help to ease congestion, enhance safety and increase local opportunities to walk and cycle.
Main works for the scheme are scheduled to begin in Autumn 2021 for an approximate two-year period.
Hampshire County Council has secured 3.28 million from a successful bid to the Governments Active Travel Fund.
A new three metre wide cycle track will be built alongside the existing footway in Brighton Way.
December 2020: Hampshire County Council approved revised scheme plans for the improvements to Brighton Hill Roundabout.
