A friendly, motivating, and cooperative society helps everyone develop kindness, independence, and resilience.
We gave the kids the opportunity to select a new school value in 2021.
Respect
Our guiding principle is to foster respect within our neighbourhood.
We want children to respect themselves, others, property, and the environment so that everyone can advance in a community.
We want all of our kids to understand how to be resilient in their learning so they can successfully deal with failures, grow from them, and advance their learning as a result.
Kindness - We all need kindness, and we especially want our kids to understand its importance in fostering healthy interactions, establishing bonds with others, and providing for one another. Leo F. Buscaglia said, "Too often we undervalue the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment or the simplest act of caring, all of which have the capacity to change a life."
Curiosity Like all humans, kids are naturally interested.
To be curious is to learn and advance.
In order to prepare our kids for the unknowable future, we want to instil a love of learning in them. This will ensure that they have a bright future full of opportunities only limited by their imaginations.
Courage Children who have courage can take calculated chances, even though they might be a little unsettling.
As we witness how far embracing a challenge can take us in both our learning and in our lives, courage enables our children to be open to challenge and understand that learning may be challenging but rewarding.
Encourage and provide all kids with the tools they need to succeed in school and play while showing others respect.
To aid in the development of future decent citizens, teach children about society.
Prepare children to live in a multicultural world by teaching them about many cultures.
Make our kids more conscious of the options open to them.
