Jo has an abundance of experience within the childcare sector, she has previously been a Director of a successful local day nursery which achieved an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
Jo wanted to emulate her success of providing outstanding quality childcare for local children and their families in the Rainham area and with the help of her family & friends you now find yourselves in Scallywags!.
Jo holds a Level 3 certificate in children's learning and development.
Andrea has over 20 years experience managing day nurseries and worked with Jo at her previous setting in Chatham as the Manager.
Andrea is qualified with a BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing and a Level 3 qualification in Nursery Management.
Kelly worked in day nurseries for many years before becoming an NVQ childcare assessor in Medway, she also worked with Jo closely over a 5-year period at a previous setting in Chatham.
Kellys skills with children and staff, along with her in-depth knowledge of the EYFS made her an ideal choice as part of the Scallywags Management Team.
Kelly is qualified to Level 5 in Childrens Learning and Development & a Level 5 in Nursery Management, she is married with 2 daughters and lives in Walderslade.
Siobhan has worked for Jo for over 21 years and her forte is the loving care of our youngest children.
The EYFS is similar to the curriculum that schools follow focusing on the on the birth to 5 year age range.
The framework aligns Early Years Professionals to care and support your childs development and learning needs and prepare them for starting school.
All schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers are required to follow the EYFS, the welfare requirements set within the framework must be met by all childcare providers, in order to keep your child safe and promote their welfare.
