The Board has created a Local Governing Body for each school that oversees the day-to-day operations of each academy. This body draws on local representation from the academy's employees, parents, parish, and local community.
The Local Governing Body will: monitor the effectiveness of the management in operating the academy in accordance with the Directors strategy, policy, and procedures; and report on the impact of the Directors strategic framework on the quality of provision, performance, and standards of the academy. The Directors' strategy, policy, and procedures will be implemented by the Local Governing Body.
Ensure that the Board of Directors' strategy and policies are carried out at the academy's local level.
Establish a robust structure for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting to ensure that the education the academy offers satisfies the requirements of the kids under its care.
By ensuring the academies develop positive relationships and effective communication with all stakeholders that are beneficial to the children's learning, formation, attainment, and progress, you can empower the academy to be accountable for creating a strong, Catholic collaborative learning community that is rooted in the teachings of Christ and his Church and the values of the Gospel.
Make recommendations as required and appropriate to the Board of Directors and other committees.
