About us
Ou r Mission Statement Rye Park Nursery School aims to offer a safe and secure environment where the children are respected as individuals and helped to become independant learners, thoughtful of the needs of others. E xte nded Serv ices- Lunch Club and Wraparound Care
Lunch Club for Nursery Children and Ryesings Children who are at least 3 years old is a great success with children attending either after their morning session or before their afternoon session for 45 minutes of supervised play and activities. Children bring their own packed lunch and eat together, learning important social skills with the lunch club staff. There is a charge of 4.00 for lunch club and booking is essential.
'Wraparound' care is open to children who attend the Nursery classes whose parents may wish to purchase additional hours, these hours are wrapped around the nursery sessions. The charge per hour for 'Wraparound' care is 5.00 This must be booked in advance through the school office
Speech and Language Therapy Services
The school centre commissions Margaret Brent, an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, to our staff team for one day a week. She is able to plan and carry out enrichment activities for children on our school roll in Ryesings and the nursery school. She is also able to offer advice and support to parents who may have concerns about their child's communication skills.
Three Parks Children's Centre Services
Rye Park Nursery School Centre works in close parttership with the Three Parks Children's Centre Services. to support local families, (particularly those who may need a little extra support) local childcare providers, including childminders, and local health professionals for example Health Visitors and Midwives to help give every child in our community the best possible start in life.
